I am a white, queer, cis therapist who is committed to providing affirming counseling and art therapy. I grew up in New Jersey but have lived in Philly for over 10 years. My interests are painting, walking my dog, reading, and spending time with friends/family. I’m passionate about body liberation and dedicated to dismantling the oppressive systems that designate certain bodies as more worthy than others.

Body Liberation

My work is rooted in a social justice frame and my clinical approach is influenced by psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed therapies. I support people as they explore how life experiences and societal messages have impacted their relationship with their bodies. I use intuitive eating, body liberation, and Health at Every Size® principles to guide my practice when working with folks with disordered eating and body image concerns. I work from an anti-oppression model, and I maintain awareness of how systemic issues have impacted one’s experience in their body.

Education and Training

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Art Therapy from Drexel University. I also maintain certifications as a Registered and Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I hold an advanced training certificate from Widener University in Affirmative Therapy for Transgender Communities.

Areas of Focus

My work with folks centers on body image, disordered eating, eating disorders, mood changes, life transitions, self-esteem, LGBTQ and trans affirming care.
